A Time to Love

Gülveli Kaya's solo painting exhibition, titled Sevmek Zamanı (A Time to Love), is now open at Summart Art Center. As the artist’s 19th solo show, Sevmek Zamanı draws its name from an urgent need felt by humanity worldwide in recent years.

Kaya’s work explores the complex relationship between humans and objects, highlighting humanity’s futile attempts to exist through possession, control, and mastery over objects, which ultimately leads to a sense of helplessness and dramatic isolation. The dominance of objects over time and human resistance to this inevitability form the core of Kaya’s thematic exploration.
