Objects that flow before our eyes… Day-to-day life overflows with objects. Many items we look at, use, ignore, and trip over daily connect us with the transient nature of the moment and coincidence. Some of them are ours, and some of them are somebody else’s. Some are blown by the wind to us, some are left in the corner of a wall when deemed unnecessary. Many of them break or tear, some are crushed, thrown away… Even though they are inanimate, we are always good at determining their fate by near-death acts. But when they turn into metaphors, they become immortality. Incidentally, we should mention Graham Harman, one of the founders and most influential advocates of Object-Oriented Ontology (OOO), which intertwines the animate and inanimate, tends to lift the object to its feet that has become rubble, reads the dialogue that objects enter into with each other, with the artist and finally with the audience - in short, the distance between the perceived and the perceiver - and brings the word to metaphor.
