Hiçlik Üzerine

Summart is inaugurating its new exhibition hall with a selection of Uğur Güler’s works from 2010-2015.

Following a series of paintings in which he depicted the transformation of the human body through death by deforming figures, the artist shifts toward a photo-realistic approach in his post-2010 works, presenting scenes staged in the studio to explore themes of death and violence in a philosophical and fictional context.

The exhibition, titled Hiçlik Üzerine (On Nothingness), can be viewed at Summart from May 6 to May 30, 2015.
