Opus Chroma

The Opus Chroma project brings together the works of four artists who focus on the concept of color from both practical and conceptual perspectives. The artists, Oğuz Haşlakoğlu, Pınar Genç, Utku Dervent, and Selçuk Fergökçe, who graduated from the same academic program, highlight their interactions in their artistic production. This interaction is expressed through the Latin word ‘opus’ meaning ‘work’ or ‘piece’ while also referencing the first letters of the artists' names.

The exhibition aims to transcend visual arts by establishing connections with other creative fields such as music, thereby making the concept of ‘Chroma’ visible. The project is curated by Dolunay May. Opus Chroma " will be on view at the Summart Art Center from January 12 to February 11, 2017.
