Organic Machines

In his new series, Organic Machines, Evren Sungur explores themes such as alternative evolution, the automation of contemporary life, and surreal civilization design. Curated by Denizhan Özer, this exhibition presents Sungur’s unique visual language, which defies the classical forms and compositions of figurative expression. By creating surreal human designs in imagined spaces, Sungur seeks to detach the viewer from their current sense of time and place, encouraging introspection and a fetishistic discomfort about one’s own past and future, while hinting at possible futures.
